WORKING AS A CARE TEAM

For Providers

Making a Referral to Pastoral Care

Working with a client who has encountered or presents with spiritual or religions concerns can sometimes be a challenge for clinical providers who may not have the depth of experience to meet the client’s need. In those cases we are very happy to act as professional colleagues with whom you can consult.

Requesting a Consult

If you are a clinical practitioner, or clergy and would like to discuss a particular case you are working with, please reach out to us at [email protected], or by using the chat feature in the corner of our website. We are always happy to partner with professionals that also serve our community. There is no charge for our professional consultation for providers.

Making a Referral

If after our collaborative consult you wish to refer your client for pastoral counseling, we are happy to coordinate care alongside you. We have the appropriate mechanisms and procedures in place to either transition care, or work in concert with your practice to provide the holistic care your client requires. With the client’s permission, we are also happy to exchange electronic health records and therapy notes with you to provide a comprehensive and holistic care for your client.

Cost Considerations

For many clients taking on an additional provider may be cost prohibitive. In those situations we will work with the client to find the best solution for them. We do not turn away referred clients based on inability to pay for services.
